Levaquin is marketed by Ortho-McNeil, a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson. Many Levaquin victims face the fact that their lives have been ruined or greatly damaged by this widely prescribed drug. Levaquin toxicity has affected me for over six long years. I write this blog in the hopes of preventing others from suffering a similar fate.

Fluoroquinolone adverse reactions can be severe, disabling, and sometimes even permanent. The insidious part of this toxicity is that many of these adverse reactions are delayed. Adverse reactions can start days to weeks after cessation of the antibiotic. Hence, many people never associate their health problems back to the antibiotic. These latent adverse reactions often become long term health conditions.
4 of the 10 Levaquin Clinical Trials submitted to the FDA for approval were considered “significantly flawed” by the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA source for this is below. Flawed Clinical Trials impact the accurate assessment of safety and adverse event issues. The other Levaquin Clinical Trials may have used the same or similar clinical methodology so more were possibly flawed as well. Significant flaws were noted in protocol design and protocol implementation.

Why did I create this blog? After suffering through several years of severe pain from an antibiotic called Levaquin, I decided to begin documenting my life in an effort to help educate the public. This is my story for as long as I can continue writing it. Levaquin toxicity is a very difficult journey. I suffer from burning nerve pain and tendonitis. I also have central nervous system damage from Levaquin that includes severe insomnia, tremors, chemical sensitivities, food intolerances, head pressure, and vision abnormalities.
Levofloxacin is a potentially very toxic drug. It is sold under the brand name of Levaquin. Johnson and Johnson also known as JNJ has a subsidiary called Ortho-McNeil which is marketing this very dangerous drug.
Our website has many facts and stories of devastating long term injuries from levaquin. This drug is very potent and is meant to be used for life threatening infections, not as a first line choice for common routine infections.
