Quinolone antibiotic bumper stickers: Help raise awareness.

I keep trying to think of ways to warn the public about the dangers of fluoroquinolone antibiotics. At the same time, I also want to inflict as much financial damage as I can to the manufactureres of these poisons. Bumper stickers are an effortless way to promote the dangers of these drugs. I am going to get three of them. One for my car and two for my parents cars. I have seen a few Autism awareness bumper stickers when I have been driving. Maybe this would be a little bit helpful helpful in spreading the word. It certainly can’t hurt.

I am not sure of the best way to advertise this on a bumper sticker. I thought about this for a while when I was in bed last night. It is hard to fit all the quinolones on a bumper sticker. Levaquin and Cipro account for the majority of quinolone prescriptions. I think the public is more  familiar with Cipro than they are with Levaquin. Only because it was used for Anthrax prevention and it has a more easily recognized name. Maybe something like this for the bumper sticker:

Cipro and Levaquin are poison  Antibiotics.org  Fqvictims.org

Something like that may be good. It would obviously have to be arranged to fit into the bumper sticker.  Most of the public doesn’t know what Levaquin is so putting Cipro first is the better fromat. Also, since most people don’t know what Levaquin is and many people are not familiar with what Cipro is either I thought putting Antibiotics.org as the best website below it so that people will then know that these two drugs are antibiotics.  Listed here are a few companies that make bumper stickers. The pictures look pretty good. I would think the bumper stickers would have to be a little longer than eleven inches though in their format.

How about something like: “Is your doctor poisoning you? Antibiotics.org Favc.info” or “Are your prescription meds actually hurting you? Antibiotics.org Favc.info”.

That might encourage people to check the potential side-effects of all the medicines their doctor’s prescribe. It also avoids the lack of name brand recognition of quinolones that you highlighted.
